The New Zealand Association of Scientists makes the following annual awards:

Applications for 2016 awards
All interested applicants should apply directly for the relevant award, rather than seek a nomination for their application. Applications are now sought for the 2016 Marsden Medal, Shorland Medal, Research Medal, and the Science Communicator Medal. To be considered for an award in 2016, applications must be received by 31 May 2016. Full information on making an application is available here.
